I thought I would share some of the things I have been loving recently. Things for business, kids and yourself!
Business
I just finished going through Meera Kothand’s Opt-In Blueprint and Email List Simplified. She has included a ton of information on how to create opt-ins, how to promote them and then how to nurture the email list you create. If you are struggling with this, I highly recommend this course.
I’ve been working on increasing my traffic and found Lena Gott’s book 17 Strategies I Used to Increase my Page Views from 17K to 350K+ Each Month. It has been a great read! I have marked a ton of the ideas to try out over the next few months.
The 72 page business planner from Amber Temerity at Embracing Temerity. I just printed it out and started filling it out, but it is already helping me to focus my goal setting and plan for the rest of the year.
Kids
Avatar: The Last Airbender has been playing non-stop at our house. The kids absolutely love it!
These sippy cups are amazing! They can be sipped from anywhere but don’t leak. I will admit, if they are thrown from a high chair at high speed they will splatter, but only a bit!
50 Spooky Snacks from Food Network Magazine. Everyday after school they beg me to make one of them. We made the Bloody Milkshakes and then made up our own apple treats. It is fun to get in the Halloween spirit a little early this year.
Personal
The soap from The Crazy Chicken Lady of NH. Don’t you just love the name? It is a small business owned by my friend Jessica. She gave me a bar of Lavender Peppermint for helping her with her website. It smells amazing!
This recipe for Tomato Cobbler. Are overcome with tomatoes like we are? This is the perfect recipe for those late summer tomatoes. It is delicious over mashed potatoes. I even make up the filling and freeze it to eat in January when we need a taste of summer. Just thaw and then top with biscuits and bake.
Are you a fan of teen lit? Definitely check out The Queen’s Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner. The first book starts out slow, but leads up to a big twist. Then the rest of the books are pretty riveting. Both my husband and I read them and very much enjoyed them.
What have you been enjoying? I’d love some suggestions of things to check out.
